UK Sundecks Expands and Relocates
In a move which further strengthens Omar Group’s position as the leading manufacturer and solutions provider to the parks industry, UK Sundecks has relocated to a new 12,000 sq ft premises near Stourbridge in the West Midlands.
Omar Group acquired UK Sundecks, a market leading decking installations business, in 2018. Founded by father and son team Dave and Jake Randle, the business, whilst under their leadership, earnt a reputation as being the UK’s leading supplier of high-quality uPVC and Millboard decking.
Since acquiring the business, a strong management team has been put together to fill the void left by the Randles stepping away. Rob Frankum joined the business as Managing Director, Kieron Heath joined recently as Factory Manager and Aaron Woodall was promoted, through an outstanding service record, to the position of Technical Manager. Rob and the team are ably supported by Sharon Bullock, Office Manager, Courtney Wilkinson as Sales Coordinator and a fully-trained, in-house team of fabricators and installation technicians; sub-contractors are never used in-line with the companies motto:‘Where Quality Comes First’.
Given the strong growth that Rob and the team have delivered since the first national lockdown, Omar Group is pleased to announce that the business has relocated to a new, larger premises. Randle House in Lye, near Stourbridge in the West Midlands is the new 12,000 sq ft facility, which will give the Group a Midlands hub for customer meetings. This will include an additional customer specification room for all of the Group’s businesses and a facility which will enable UK Sundecks to triple their current sales, in-line with the Group’s ambitious growth plans.
